With the presence of producer Alexander Arbelaez
Bus line 243 takes Sandra to her job as a security guard at a shopping mall, while she allows herself to dream and desire the woman she wants to be. The bus becomes a non-space where she begins to understand that her path lies in feeling herself.
To what extent can desire trigger a woman’s liberation? As she begins to become aware of the everyday life that absorbs her, Sandra begins to understand the meaning of her own presence through her body. All this framed by the symphony of a city: the city of Medellín, in Colombia.
It is through the spaces that Yennifer Uribe, the director of this film, films that her character can exist and begin to occupy a place. In this way, the filmmaker finds a way to welcome and show empathy for the character she films.
