RECLab is a laboratory and space for training that supports professionals in the film industry and promotes the internationalisation of their works, as well as helping them to find the best ways to reach their audience.

It’s celebrated along with REC International Festival of Cinema in Tarragona and, since it started in 2014, carries out a meticulous curatorial task, and accompanying, that helps propelling first and second movies.

RECLab’s best known event is Primer Test, a work-in-progress with a history stretching back more than 10 years; however, RECLab is also a space for screenwriters, directors, producers and professionals working with audiences to meet and exchange ideas. With a focus on selection (of both projects and experts), RECLab offers other activities such as one-to-one meetings, training sessions and networking activities.

Until now, RECLab has supported a long list of projects and has a net of international collaborators, participating in the rising of a young and diverse view of the cinema
