MiniREC – WRAP! Project

MiniREC

Since 2017, and in collaboration with Minipop Festival, MiniREC gathers activities and films for all audiences, with the clear aim of approaching the festival to the familiar audience. Enjoying a good film, talking with the director, participating in a workshop or learning about cinema and visual arts are some of the activities included in MiniREC.

It’s not about programming films specifically for kids, but about bringing closer adults’ and children’s world through cinema, sharing a story and an experience. Making adults and kids enjoy together the festival and get into the world of cinema. In short, living and sharing culture between different generations.

WRAP! Project

REC is a partner in the Creative Europe – MEDIA film literacy project WRAP! together with other 6 European countries, which is coordinated by Cinekid Festival (Amsterdam). WRAP! films are included in our section MiniREC, and we bring them to educational centers, film festivals and cultural venues around Spain during the whole year. With WRAP! screenings and workshops, every year kids and teenagers enjoy the films in the project while learning about audiovisual language, cinema and much more!

The Wrap! project is funded by Creative Europe MEDIA Programme.
