RECLab, the industry programme of the REC Tarragona International Film Festival, is now accepting applications for its One-to-One meetings, an initiative that connects film projects with international industry professionals to exchange ideas, receive feedback and explore new development opportunities.
Each 15-minute meeting gives filmmakers the chance to present their projects, discuss their potential and establish contacts with professionals who can help them take the next step. The call is open to fiction, documentary and animation short and feature film projects in Catalan, as well as projects connected to Catalonia through their production company or their director, screenwriter or producer.
International professionals from across the film industry
This year’s edition will bring together professionals with experience in international film festival programming, film sales, production and audience strategies. Participants include Ellen Y. D. Kim, Director of ACFM in Busan; Monica Moya, Industry Director at FICCI; Marco Cipollini, member of the selection committee at FIDMarseille; and Jim Kolmar, programmer at SXSW.
The line-up also includes Maya Barenstein, Sales Executive at Coproduction Office; Paul Julien, Head of Sales at Salaud Morisset; Per Damgaard Hansen, CEO and producer at Paloma Productions, currently seeking Spanish co-production opportunities; and Michael Frenchkowski, audience strategy expert and honorary member of the International Screen Institute.
How to apply
Applicants must complete the registration form, submit their project and indicate which professionals they would like to meet. The REC team will select between 10 and 15 projects. Selected participants will receive confirmation and a personalised schedule of their assigned meetings.
The meetings will take place on the afternoon of 3 December, as part of the REC Tarragona International Film Festival.
The application deadline is 2 November.
An opportunity to share your work, exchange ideas with industry professionals and explore new possibilities for your film project.
