A couple’s drama that becomes a thriller of great psychological power, with excellent performances and the ability to touch on various current issues, standing as the big surprise of the season. The directors demonstrate an unusual mastery of framing a multi-genre story in just a few locations, making its low budget a springboard from which to launch its powerful narrative. The essential Opera Prima of the year in Spain, one of those films that grabs you after a few minutes and doesn’t let you go throughout the film.
