Following the disappearance of Erin, a girl who wakes up prematurely from hibernation, her older sister will lead us on a journey of searching for answers and confrontation with a society that hibernates during the coldest months of the year.
After having travelled through the world of music videos and artistic installations, Anna Cornudella delves into her first cinematic experience. Fascinated by the existence of an Australian pig that began to hibernate to survive after suffering several fires, Cornudella began to stretch the thread until she found her own approach to the notion of nature.
And therein lies Anna Cornudella’s genius: in her desire as a filmmaker to find the form that best suits what she wants to explain. This strength and character are captured in “The Human Hibernation”, her first feature film.
