Dancer Elena and sign language interpreter Dovydas meet and immediately form a beautiful bond. As they enter into their new relationship, they must find a way to build their own kind of intimacy.

With a deliberately leisurely, cadenced rhythm that evolves through the seasons to the rhythm of an exquisite musical selection, the Lithuanian director lets the bodies speak in a moving dance of sensations and feelings. Moving her protagonists in a soft and seductive choreography, punctuated by sincere and spontaneous dialogues, the director knows how to find a new approach to a theme widely treated in cinema: love.

A highly suggestive proposal, endowed with a special sensitivity and the candidate to represent Lithuania for the Oscar 2024 SLOW is a tender, unexpected tale about contemporary relationships, sexuality, the closeness of skin and feelings.
