With the presence of director Yotam Ben David. Premiere in Spain.
The wandering of souls is a recurring theme in the films of Yotam Ben David, one of the most unique filmmakers of his generation. In a certain way, the dissociation between soul and body is transposed in Ben David’s films in the form of images and sounds. And we inevitably think of Chantal Akerman and how uprooting ends up shaping the future of the human being.
We are very happy to have the opportunity to show his three latest short films in Tarragona. Yotam Ben David is an Israeli filmmaker who has always been openly committed to the struggle for the liberation of the Palestinian people. And here we find one of the main vertices of his cinema and his political commitment.
