Surrounded by vineyards and fields of grain, the inhabitants of a town in La Mancha spend their days with apparent normality. Some, the living, fight against the onslaughts of life, while others, the ghosts, face the mishaps of death.
Enrique Buleo, one of the most unique filmmakers in current Spanish cinema, uses an episodic structure to offer us his first feature film. Recognized for his narrative talent in short films such as El infierno y tal (2019) and Las invitados (2022), Buleo delves into his repertoire with a unique look at the genre, offering us humor that is born from tragedy.
