SYNOPSIS
“When I left the island on which I was born, it was not a departure, but an escape. Years later, I arrive on another island, a barren place that feels strangely familiar. I came here to meet a man. He says he is ready to expose the violence he carries inside. But when I venture to approach this noxious and desperate man, I realize that in him also lies the key to my deepest fears, which resonate in the violence of my own past. Now his story can never be separated from mine.”
