SYNOPSIS

Gloria, nearing 60, is divorced and has two children who flew the nest long ago. A strong and independent woman, she attends parties of mature singles in search of company to mitigate the loneliness she finds herself in. A fragile happiness that will soon be altered and will have to make decisions.

This synopsis barely contains the symbolism and referential power that “Gloria” has acquired over the years. Winner of “Cinema en Construcció” in Sant Sebastià and premiered at the Berlinale already ten years ago, it signified a change in the discourse on the presence of women in cinema in Latin America, giving its cinema a new relevance, and placing it on the map mainstream to Sebastián Leilo (Oscar 2017 for “A Fantastic Woman”).

“Gloria” definitively and internationally consecrated the great Paulina Garcia, who won the award for Best Actress in Berlin 2013, having the good fortune to have her to explain the film and its significance, in its tenth birthday

With the presence of the leading actress, Paulina García
