Year 1943. In a small village in the Pyrenees, the Francoist regime has closed the border and blocked the passage of refugees fleeing Nazism. Manel Grau, a customs officer with a Republican past, discovers a clandestine operation carried out by Juliana, a local neighbour, and Jérôme, a French guide. He soon finds himself facing a dilemma that may endanger his life: to move forward with an act of humanity or obey the rules.
Judith Colell signs one of her most ambitious works, with the support of a remarkable ensemble cast, in this period production with clear contemporary resonances. A powerful historical drama that leads us to reflection through its most emotional dimension.
With the presence of Judith Colell and Miki Esparbé.
