Denis lives in a northern city, works at the port and dreams of going to Berlin to dedicate himself to music. Meanwhile, he hangs out with his besties, dreaming of a future that will allow them to navigate an uncertain present and face the challenges of life. One night stretches on and the fun ends in an unexpected place, opening the door to an unforeseen encounter with Beca, a woman in her fifties and the owner of the house they have broken into.
Anxos Fazáns, who with her debut offered us a film of late youth, overflowing nostalgia and Galician rock, takes a step forward in her career portraying the lives of characters who rarely appear on screen: stuck, yet eager to embark on a journey into the unknown, sketching a crucial yet everyday moment and presenting people who escape stereotypes. The plot is not the only thing that will captivate you here; the tenderness, the contained emotion in gestures, and how what is subtle and almost imperceptible becomes what matters most… Dust off that vinyl, turn up the volume, relax and let yourself be carried away by the dotted lines.
