For our 25th anniversary, we’re launching a new section: Rec Selection, a sneak preview of the films that will be generating the most buzz next year.

From established directors like Park Chan-wook (“Oldboy”), whose latest film, “No Way Out,” will be screened, to emerging talents like Harry Lichtson, a young British filmmaker who has surprised everyone with a truly unique romantic comedy.

They’ll be followed by others like Jim Jarmusch, with his recent Golden Lion-winning film, Father, Mother, Sister, Brother, and our own tribute to Jean-Luc Godard with “Nouvelle Vague,” Richard Linklater’s film that takes us behind the scenes of “Breathless.”

And we’ll close with a bang with “La Grazia,” Sorrentino’s best film since “The Great Beauty.” An exquisite treat for the discerning palates of the REC audience.
