Screening Test
It offers the opportunity to get to know cinema “in the raw” from a film not yet released.
For the third consecutive year, RECLab, the industry section of the REC Festival, opens its doors to the Tarragona public. On December 8 at 6 p.m., the Teatret del Serrallo will be the venue for a new activity called a screening test. This will offer the opportunity to get to know cinema “in the raw” from a film that has not yet been released, participating in the Primer Test accompanying laboratory.
The screening test seeks to open the doors of RECLab so that the city’s public can get to know the industry activities up close and discover all the processes and questions behind a film production, especially before it is released.
The session, which will last approximately two hours, will feature the participation of part of the film’s directing and production team, as well as Álvaro Vega, founder of the marketing and communication agency Doble Sentido, responsible for promoting 150 films and 2 Spanish nominations for the Oscars. Vega will be in charge of energizing the day and collecting impressions from those attending the screening, who will be participants in a pioneering and unique experience in Spain. The audience’s feedback will help the film’s creators think about their audiences before starting a journey on the film festival circuit -national and international-, in addition to reaching cinema screens.
Those who wish to participate in this innovative film experience –completely free and with limited capacity– must fill out this form, specifying their contact details and their interests and motivations for attending the screening. At the same time, it will be an essential requirement to sign a confidentiality agreement on the day of the activity, to ensure that nothing they have seen leaves the cinema. Do you want to be part of a pioneering activity and find out what goes on behind the scenes of a film? Are you capable of keeping a secret?
