Lady Isabella dreams of being in the spotlight, and the talent show Stately Stars finally gives her the opportunity she has always wished for. To boost her popularity, she hires a down-on-his-luck filmmaker to record her every move. And although at first she enjoys herself immensely in front of the camera while strolling around her vast Victorian estate, the pressure eventually overwhelms her and she begins to lose her sense of who she is, to the point of literally starting to disappear.
Sian Clifford (the unforgettable sister in Fleabag) is an aristocratic Kardashian in this delirious mockumentary in the style of celebrity reality TV, blending wit, satire and even magical realism to remind us that behind the noise and the posing beats the same need: for someone to truly see us and hold us.
